Projects

Here are all the OC projects I've taken on, in order, starting as early as I can!

A Wheel Story (2018-2021)

My first webcomic ever. I'd done small comics before this for various fandom things, but this was my first step into a longform project. Although I'm proud of all the work I did on it, I feel safe leaving this story in the past. I was going through kind of a weird buddhist phase, and I was only 18 when I started. Stopped in around 2021 when the pandemic ended and my attention started getting drawn to other things.

Bakumatsu Yankee: "Night Lessons"

Around 2021, I started being active in the Lupin fandom under the twitter handle "Bresson_diary". Before this, I was primarily active on tumblr under the handle "lilacbombs/lilacb0mbsart". Some people go most of their lives online without changing their handles, but I could never find one to stick. Despite having 1k followers like most people I migrated to twitter and started posting there.

I gradually lost interest with Lupin though, and instead found myself drawn to another piece of media, called "Bakumatus Yankee". BMYK is an ova short in the Monkey Punch themed anthology series called "Monkii Panchi Manga Katsudou Daishashin" or "Mankatsu", which is where I get my handle (slightly changed.) BMYK is based on an even shorter manga by the creator himself, telling the story of the shinsengumi interacting with a foreign guy who washes up on shore. This is how the addiction started.
